Outboard is Matt Neuroth and Josh Cary — two partners with 35+ years of combined experience building digital products. We've led agencies, shipped hundreds of projects, and worked with everyone from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
We started Outboard because we believe you shouldn't have to choose between boutique attention and enterprise-quality delivery. Every client deserves both.
Matt Neuroth
20 years in agency leadership. Has held every seat — sales, delivery, recruiting, operations. Led projects for Fortune 500 companies, venture-funded startups, and internationally recognized nonprofits.
Former touring musician
Josh Cary
15+ years in agency leadership. Delivered projects as large as 15,000 hours for clients including Fujifilm, Staples, and IBM. Certified Specialist of Wine — which has nothing to do with software, but tells you something about how he approaches the things he cares about.
